New Design

Wallace Structural Engineers (WSE) is a full-service consulting engineering firm. Founded in 2002, WSE has provided the structural design and contract documents for many types of projects through the Southeastern United States & the British Virgin Islands. WSE’s engineers are registered in 11 states and consult with architectural firms, owners, contractors and Homeowners Associations.

WSE has extensive experience in manly types of structures, including, cultural, educational, healthcare, hospitality, housing, mixed use, office, religious, retail, site retention and specialty structures. Staff engineers either have a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or are working toward that goal. Also, on staff we have a civil engineering student who will graduate in May 2017 and begin work toward their post graduate education. Possessing knowledge is a fundamental requirement at WSE, but we feel that we have selected a group of engineers with a variety of backgrounds that have the unique skill of applying that scientific knowledge to practical use. This skillset allows us to work with our clients and their unique design requirements to formulate the most economical creative design or field variation.

WSE uses Building Information Technology (BIM) to create construction documents. WSE’s engineers and CAD technicians use the latest version of Autodesk Revit Structure in tandem to create and document models of new projects. The models created include the main structural elements and miscellaneous structural elements that could contribute to conflicts with other trades. Having the structure modeled in BIM allows for coordination with other trades and minimizes issues found during construction. WSE is has a custom library used to model various structural elements that is used to create an extensive Revit detail library for use on our projects.
